Everyday our 2 children came home from school with some new fact about going green, or living healthier.  As parents whose generation knows very little about growing up green this made us feel uneducated.  We are concerned for our children, ourselves, and what the future will hold. We decided to educate ourselves.  So while trying to educate ourselves and come up with “little” ways to change ourselves and help encourage our children to do the same, Little Green Leaps was born.

Little Green Leaps is starting small (little), our first product that we designed is to replace the brown paper lunch bag. In an effort to eliminate the cutting down of 14 million trees a year you could encourage your children and yourselves to use our reusable and recyclable lunch bags.   A sobering fact, Americans use 10 billion paper bags per year and only 10% to 15% are being returned to recyleing plants.

While coming up with our design we wanted our bags to be simple (commercial free), affordable and fun for children and adults.  We wanted a good quality item and we wanted very much for it to be manufactured right here in the USA.   In these economic times we truly believe we need to support our country and get the best quality workmanship even if it meant spending a “little” bit more money.

We feel good about our bags and hope you do too.  This is our first product of what hopes to be many.
